This paper will discuss two famous archeology museums – the archeology Museum of Patras, Greece and the Archeology Museum of Alava in Vitoria, Spain.
The first museum is the Archeology Museum of Patras in Greece (Fig.1) which is famous throughout the world.
The museum exhibits the colorful history of Patras starting from the prehistoric era to the end of the Roman Empire (New Archaeological Museum of Patras). The exhibition of Patras Archeological Museum is divided into several thematic sections which can be found in separate halls: the Chamber of Private Life, the Hall of Public Life, and the Hall of Necropolis (Fig.2). The main peculiarity of this museum is its contemporary architecture with metallic dome which creates impressive building. The museum covers an area of 28.000 sq. km and has a beautiful yard with a pool. The museum was open to the public in 2009 (Archaeological Museum of Patras). The numerous exhibitions of the museum help to understand the life, interest, tradition and culture of people in ancient times.

The unique artifacts represented in the museum connect to the lives of all Greek people because they tell a lot about the history of Greece.
The building of the museum is designed in the shape of a metal box. It was open to public in 2008. (Cohn). The Archeology Museum of Alava has unique collections of the medieval artifacts from the history of the town and a great variety of Roman sculptures (Archeology Museum of Alava). The museum also has a unique exhibition of ancient funeral steles in the gardens. The main peculiarity of the museum is that its exhibition halls have dark walls, dark floors and continuous black ceilings. However, these dark spaces of the museum’s hall are traversed by absolutely white glazed prisms The main purpose is to evoke the visitor’s adventure of interpretation (Basulto). It means that the information to visitors is presented in an unusual way. It has great emotional effect on the viewers.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, it is necessary to say that both archeology museums discussed in this paper are worth visiting. Both museums are rather new as they were opened to the public 3-4 years ago. Both museums have unusual design of their buildings. However, the collections of artifacts are different as well as the design of their exhibition halls.
